vidmax.com Vidmax Frontpage Vidmax Frontpage

About This Site:

Vidmax.com, launched in late 2006, is a viral video site that in it's first year has grown to over 10 million monthly visitors viewing 25 million pages. I have stamped and supplied videos to Vidmax.com since January 2007, and continue to today.

My Part:

  • Video stamping and editing
  • Administration, including uploading and titling videos

  • Promotion (Link exchanges and advertising space)

peteholmes.com PH Frontpage PH Viewpage

About This Site:

Pete Holmes is a stand up comedian who also does work for VH1, Comedy Central, the New Yorker, and College Humor. When he needed a new website, he turned to my friend for a design, and me for the coding. What resulted was a functional site chock full of features.

My Part:

  • Wrote all the XHTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript for the site
  • Applied AJAX features to make the player area work without entire page reloads
  • Created a custom-tailored administration system so Pete can easily add, edit and remove features

cvsportbikeclub.com CV Frontpage CV Viewpage

About This Site:

After I became a member of the Chippewa Valley Sportbike Club, I wasted no time recommending that they get their own website. Having a website has made it much easier for new members to get information about the club, and for current members to communicate via the forums. The entire site is integrated into the forums system, making administration a breeze.

My Part:

  • PHP integration of the current design with punBB forums software
  • Easy edit forms so administrators can change text and images on the site with little hassle
  • Maintenance and bug fixes, along with new feature implementation as they are requested

Website Administration panel Admin Admin Edit

About This:

Creating custom administration panels for all the sites I made took a long time, so I created a multi-purpose admin built in modules that can easily be altered to work with a wide variety of sites. These thumbnails show Leakingpen.com's admin. Tools to change anything on the site are included, in an easy to navigate, fully AJAX-ified website.

My Part:

  • XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP coding of the entire admin panel
  • Installation of server-side tools to work with the admin, such as libjpeg and ffmpeg
  • Creation of scripts launched as cron jobs rather than per page load to lessen server strain

linkeater.com LE Frontpage LE Viewpage

About This Site:

While I was not the original creator of Linkeater, I did get permission to alter the source code to optimize this site's horrible strain on its server. This site would push the server load to well over 0.20, and after my optimizations to the PHP and mySQL queries, this site barely makes the server top 0.03. The original frontpage would execute a massive forty-six queries to the database each load, and after I was done, it now accomplishes the same thing with only 5.

My Part:

  • mySQL database optimization
  • PHP editing to optimize page loads

onlinevideocontests.com OVC Frontpage

My Part:

  • XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP coding
  • Administration panel built to make adding and altering contests simple
