About Me

I've been working on computers, and actively following careers doing work online since the late 90s. Around late 1999, I applied for an editor job with Mac 3D Dot Com. It was my responsibility to write up reports on gaming and entertainment news on the Mac platform, which I did 3 to 4 times per week. The company also flew all of us editors out to Macworld Expo, where I got the chance to interview one of the creators of the Warcraft series of games. Sadly, the website folded along with a ton of other websites following the big dot com bust. While I was upset to see it go, it was a great way to get some experience.

Following Mac 3D, I stayed back in Eau Claire, WI to work on my education and started attending IT classes at the local technical college. I finished three semesters before stopping to take a job offer with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. I had started there as a simple cart pusher, but in the span of 10 months, got promoted to the Inventory Team, then Department Manager, then Support Manager, and finally Assistant Manager of Store Setup. It was a great opportunity to earn some money and see the US, as the position required going from store to store all over the country.

Tiring of all the travel and not having a home, I came back to Eau Claire after working Store Setup for a while. I resumed my education at Chippewa Valley Technical College, and picked up a job at Menard, Inc. working as an intern in their IT department. Come May 2007, I finished my education with a 3.75 GPA and a degree, IT Network Specialist.

These days I spend my time working online, whether it be my own sites, or doing video work for other popular websites on the Internet. I really enjoy working with computers & other creative, techy people, and always look forward to expanding my skills in any way I can. Take a look at what I've worked on in my Projects section, and if you think I have what it takes to do well for your company, send me a message!
